Japanese Boxwood is a fine-textured evergreen that clips into tidy low hedges and borders. Growth is slow and dense, usually settling around 2–4 ft tall and wide, and the small rounded leaves hold their color year-round. It is the workhorse behind clipped parterres, walkway edging, knot gardens and neat squares of green under windows, and it also holds its shape well in large containers.
